Insights into the recent publication of the TPI Service Charge Index
Guidance on EWS1 processes for Directors, and access to the information we're sharing with Leaseholders requesting new EWS1 forms.
This bulletin addressed the current global energy crisis, and the impact that this is likely to have on service charge budgeting.
Our first Bulletin of the year provided Directors with information on increasing standing charge rates and how these are likely to affect communal energy bills, as well as providing some reminders for services and new technologies that clients can use to support the management of their developments.
2025
Autumn 2025 focused on circulating the Directors' Feedback Report, reminding relevant developments to provide instructions for their High Rise Resident Engagement Services, and providing an update on finance reporting visibility improvements for Directors through Blocks Online. It also mentions new on-site staff processes, updated fire door guidance from the Government, and Jennings & Barrett's 115 Trees campaign.
Spring 2025 introduced J&B's first Directors' Feedback Survey, our campaign to get Leaseholders opting into Electronic Communications, and explained why we're rolling out annual flat roof surveys for relevant blocks.
2024
We’ve recently met with Full Power and can now share the latest update on the ongoing energy crisis and its impact on your budgets. Compared to most managing agents, Jennings and Barrett had secured energy prices to miss the extremes of the market.
Our Marketing & Communications function was created in Spring 2024 – so only one version of the Directors' Bulletin was circulated that year.
2024's edition focused on circulating the TPI Service Charge Index and the Building Safety Act 2022. Other newsletters were circulated as necessary.
